MOOVO and OKGO Bring Smart Dockless E-Bike Systems from Changhua to Europe

Founded in 2019, MOOVO (運點科技) is a Taiwan-based startup focused on smart shared mobility solutions. Leveraging Changhua’s comprehensive bicycle manufacturing ecosystem, MOOVO developed an integrated e-bike system combining hardware, software, and IoT technology. In 2020, the company introduced its dockless e-bike platform to Europe under the “Rybit” brand.

To strengthen its system capabilities, MOOVO partnered with OKGO (凱智綠能), a leader in IoT system integration and energy solutions. OKGO provides the smart infrastructure backbone—including charging posts, battery swap cabinets, and solar-powered pavilions—that enables MOOVO’s dockless bikes to operate efficiently and sustainably in urban environments.

At the heart of MOOVO’s technology is its self-developed T-BOX controller, equipped with GPS, Bluetooth, and geofencing. This enables precise vehicle control and high operational efficiency, supporting major logistics clients like McDonald’s, Amazon, and Domino’s in Europe.

Changhua remains MOOVO’s R&D and operations hub, where it deploys low-cost Bluetooth-based parking sensors that allow users to rent or return a bike in under 10 seconds. The city’s urban layout also mirrors many European towns, making its model highly replicable.

In addition to functional design features—cargo racks, cup holders, adjustable seats—MOOVO and OKGO aim to expand into electric cargo bikes and low-emission vehicles (LEVs) to serve both commuter and commercial sectors.

Aligned with ESG and carbon neutrality goals, the platform also calculates carbon savings, providing future potential for carbon credit applications. Together, MOOVO and OKGO are building a connected, sustainable mobility ecosystem ready to scale across Europe.

彰化成為 MOOVO 回台後重要的營運與研發中心。公司於彰化縣設置多個無樁租借站點，利用低成本裝設的藍牙道釘偵測車輛出入，在使用者借還車時可立即完成操作，借還效率高達 10 秒內 。此外，彰化的都市設計與歐洲小城鎮相似，使得彰化模式可迅速複製至國外，在管理效率上具有高度複製性 。

MOOVO 將共享自行車定位為融合實用性與生活美學的移動工具，以創新的車體設計（置物架、杯架、可調座椅高度）提升用戶體驗。未來，他們計畫發展 e-cargo bike／LEV（低排放車輛），全面支援歐美市場的城市通勤與商用場景 。

從 ESG 與碳中和視角出發，MOOVO 不僅提供 e-bike 給用戶，同時藉由平台數據算出碳排量，作為未來碳權交易與策略投資的基礎 。這不僅使平台具備環保使命，也讓公司策略與國際碳減排趨勢緊密連結。
