Built in Taiwan, Leading in Europe: This E-Bike Startup Now Powers Global Food Giants

Rybit Technologies, a micro-mobility startup from Taiwan, launched the country’s first integrated smart bike and pedelec sharing system in Changhua. In just two years, it has deployed over 1,600 vehicles, served over one million rides, and grown to become Europe’s largest e-bike fleet management platform, overseeing more than 40,000 vehicles. Clients include Dominos, McDonalds, Burger King, UberEats, and Subway.

Former Mobike executive and Rybit CEO JT Lin chose to build the company in Taiwan—not despite the opportunity in Europe, but because of Taiwan’s robust supply chain, strong hardware-software integration, and Changhua’s efficient manufacturing ecosystem.

With support from local partners like Wistron and OKGO, Rybit developed and deployed vehicles optimized for both domestic testing and global scalability. Changhua not only serves as a pilot market but also functions as a rapid R&D feedback loop—solving real-world issues like card reader moisture damage and refining operational SOPs.

Unlike many software-only platforms, Rybit also manages bike logistics, maintenance, and customer service, giving them unique control over the “last-mile pain points” in B2B delivery. Looking ahead, the company aims to expand into cargo e-bikes and delivery robots, with a goal of capturing 20% of Europe’s market within 5–7 years and establishing a lasting leadership position in global micro-mobility.

來自台灣的微交通新創 運點科技（Rybit Technologies），以彰化為起點，打造全台首套整合智慧自行車與電力輔助車（Pedelec）的共享系統。兩年間累積逾 1600 輛車的營運經驗，不僅服務超過百萬人次，更成為歐洲最大電動自行車管理平台，管理規模超過 4 萬輛車，合作品牌包括 達美樂、麥當勞、漢堡王、UberEats、Subway 等國際連鎖。

執行長林靖德曾任摩拜國際營運長，他指出，歐洲看似是最大機會市場，但選擇返台創業，是因為台灣擁有 完整供應鏈、軟硬整合能力強，尤其彰化具備產業聚落與產品迭代效率，是極具「資本效率」的起步場域。

與 緯創、OKGO 凱智綠能 的合作讓運點能從產品設計、整車開發到系統整合快速落地。彰化除了是共享營運點，更成為技術驗證與產品優化的前線，包含讀卡機防潮等細節問題，皆來自現場實測回饋，形塑完整的服務 SOP。不同於多數平台只賣軟體，運點深耕車隊調度、維修與客服等「黑手式」營運，直接抓住商用客戶的「最後一哩痛點」，成為 B2B 合作不可取代的夥伴。未來將持續拓展至 貨運電輔車、送餐機器人 等應用，目標於 5–7 年內攻下 20% 歐洲市佔，建立全球微移動產業的護城河。
